ENJOYING FREEDOM TO PLAY - Supportive Retirement Living at The Wellington

Supportive Living at The Wellington means the chores are done - giving residents time to enjoy life, socializing, and special events. With meals, laundering of linens, and twice-monthly light housekeeping provided, residents are free to enjoy their retirement.

Plus, every resident has the security of an emergency alert pendant and 24/7 response.

Concerned about making a move, for yourself or for friends/relatives and wondering how to proceed? Click for a Medicine Hat News article about this issue.

The new Meadow Ridge Seniors Village - a sister site to The Wellington but intended for supportive living - opened in September 2015.

In 2011, The Wellington was selected by Alberta Health to provide 50 supportive living suites. Renovations have been completed and many of our new residents have moved in and are enjoying life at The Wellington.

Residents are selected through Alberta Health. Click here for information on how to apply for an Alberta Health suite at The Wellington. You may also want to download the following two information sheets from Alberta Health:

Decades of wedding dresses were modelled at a recent Wellington fashion show.
